How we work
Cast, position, presentation
Anglers obsess over patterns because flies are the part you can buy. Presentation and position decide far more, and both are free to improve.
Casting responds quickly to feedback because the faults are mechanical and visible. Ten seconds of side-on video usually shows a late stop or a drifting rod tip, and ten minutes a day on grass fixes it within weeks.
Water reading is the same story with photographs. Mark the seams and the buckets on a picture of your own river, and the next trip is spent fishing the right water instead of covering all of it.
