How we work
Not a guide service
Nobody from Vellunoo is on the river with you. We coach casting, water reading and planning by video, and we sell no rods, reels or flies.
Two things stay with you: your license and the regulations where you fish, which vary by state and by stretch of water, and your own safety. Wading kills people every year. Wade with someone, know the flows, and turn back when it feels wrong.

The questions we get most
Can you teach casting over video?
Yes, and often better than on the water. On a lawn there is no fish to distract you, and a clip from the side shows faults nobody can see while casting.
Do I need expensive gear?
No. A moderate rod in the right weight, a decent line and a few flies. Line quality matters more than rod price, and we sell nothing.
Should I hire a guide too?
For unfamiliar water, one guided day is excellent value and we'll say so. This coaching is what happens in the weeks around it.
What about licenses?
Required in every state, with rules that differ by water and season. Checking them is your job — we'll remind you and point you at the agency.
Is wading safe?
Not inherently. Cold water, slick rock and rising flows are real hazards. We cover judgment, but we are not there and you carry the risk.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contract, no minimum term. Access stays open until the end of the month you already paid for.
